This is the official information portal for the Washington Clean Energy Leadership Council (CELC), an innovative public-private partnership dedicated to securing our state’s clean energy leadership.

The CELC is setting out to conduct an in-depth analysis of what Washington State government and industry can do to grow the clean energy sector and promote economic development and green job creation in Washington.

Our state is a leader in innovation and the CELC is dedicated to developing a long-term strategy for leveraging our skills, knowledge and assets to power the transition to the clean energy economy. The CELC is a group of 23 representatives from the private, public and non-profit sectors active in the clean energy industry in the state. The group was formed by passage of Senate Bill 5921, which was signed into law by Governor Gregoire in 2009.

We encourage you to stay engaged with the CELC through this site.  You can sign up for periodic updates to make sure you have the latest news and information. Your insight and feedback can help us in our mission to identify opportunities and challenges that impact our state’s renewable energy industry.
